A man has been arrested after allegedly committing six burglaries throughout Paterson, according to public safety director Jerry Speziale.

Abdulla Taylor, 28, of Paterson, has been charged with six counts of burglary and six counts of theft.

Taylor was in the area of East 23^rd Street and 9^th Avenue on Thursday when police matched him with the description of the burglary suspect. He was taken to police headquarters for questioning and admitted to committing the six burglaries, police said.

Police said Taylor committed burglaries at addresses on East 22^nd Street, North York Street, Butler Street, East 24^th Street, East 23^rd Street, and East 22^nd Street.
