Byrnes scored the go-ahead touchdown with about two minutes to play and linebacker Miguel Dingle had a spectacular game clinching interception to lead the Rebels past Independence High out of Charlotte, 20-10 to win the Palmetto Showdown for a 6th time.
Byrnes quarterback Colby Shaw tossed touchdown passes to Chamarryus Bomar & Q Watson in the victory.
