Parkston – Nancy Loretta Hult, 85, went to her heavenly home Monday, June 20 at Avera St. Benedict Hospital in Parkston.  Funeral mass will be Monday, June 27 at 10:30 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Parkston.  Visitation will be Sunday, June 26 from 5 to 7 pm with a 6:30  pm prayer service at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Parkston.  Arrangements by Koehn Bros. Funeral Home in Parkston.

Nancy was born May 2, 1937 to John and Violet Hrizo in Yonkers, NY.  Nancy attended school in Yonkers, NY,  Portsmouth, VA, and graduated from high school in Kampsville, VA in 1956. She then attended Mrs’s Bethea’s Business School and went to work for the F. S. Royston Guano Co, in the insurance department as a stenographer, in Norfolk, VA.  Nancy was united in marriage to Roger Horn on September 9, 1959 in Yankton, SD.  From there they bought a farm west of Tripp, SD, where she worked side-by-side with her husband. To this union, 3 sons, Dana, Kerry and David, and a daughter, Karen, were born.  Nancy married Ronald Hult on December 17, 1983. They made their home in Parkston, SD.  Nancy worked for Raven Industries as a sewing inspector for 22 years, retiring in 2000.  She loved going to her grandchildren’s school activities and was so proud of their many achievements.  Some of Nancy’s favorite pastimes were watching old movies, reading books, shopping for clothes-she loved her clothes, decorating her home, and most of all dancing with Ron.  She was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Parkston, SD.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Ron of Parkston; her 4 children: Dana (Renee) Horn of Tripp; Kerry (Peggy) Horn of Tripp; David Horn of Piedmont, SD; and Karen (Dave) Fremont of Spearfish, SD; 11 grandchildren: Jared, Justin, Amanda, Jennifer, Jessica, Jordan, Riley, Ashlee, Kristee, Hailee, and Courtnee; 24 great grandchildren; a sister, Patricia Blevins of Sunrise, FL; and several nieces and nephews.

She was proceeded in death by her mother and step-father Joseph Garra, granddaughter Jenna Horn, and brother-in-law Gerald Blevins.
