TUSCOLA COUNTY, MI -- A teen faces several criminal charges after allegedly assaulting and threatening to kill several other people with a knife, police said.
At about 5 p.m. Wednesday, June 22, troopers from the Michigan State Police Caro Post responded to a felonious assault report at a residence in the 4000 block of Center Street in Fairgrove.
Troopers were told a 14-year-old juvenile was threatening to murder other people in the home with a knife after an argument, according to Michigan State Police.
After further investigation, police determined the teen did assault others in the residence, though no life-threatening injuries were reported.
The teen was taken into custody and has been placed at an out-of-area juvenile facility, police said.
The teen faces 10 criminal charges related to this incident, including three counts each of assault with intent to murder, assault with a dangerous weapon and domestic violence, and a single count of carrying dangerous weapon with unlawful intent.
The teen was arraigned on Thursday, June 23, and currently is in custody on a $100,000 bond.
