Gloria Williams O’Neal, 88, of Avon, died June 23, 2022 at Currituck Health and Rehabilitation in Barco. An Avon native and true Kinnakeeter, she was born March 7, 1934 to the late Iantha O’Neal Williams and Charles T. Williams II.

Survivors include son Mark O’Neal (Robin Ames), sister Vera Meekins and other family.

In addition to her parents, Gloria was predeceased by siblings Velma Barnett, Retta Quidley, Beatrice Hooper, Cameron Williams, Charles T. Williams III and Gerald D. Williams.

Memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on June 30 at St. John United Methodist Church.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. John United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 129, Avon, NC 27915.
