UPDATE: Man Dies of Injuries Suffered in Motorcycle Crash Near Gardner

CASS CO., N.D. (KVRR) —

A 67-year-old man from Grandin, North Dakota has died of injuries he suffered when his motorcycle crashed on I-29 last Friday.

Glenn Smith was traveling northbound when his motorcycle began to wobble and he laid the bike down, one mile south of Gardner.

Smith was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.

He sustained serious injuries and was taken by helicopter to a local hospital.

Smith died Monday of his injuries.

Witnesses reported he was traveling at a speed of 65 to 70 miles per hour.

This crash remains under investigation.

(KVRR/KFGO) — A 67-year-old Grandin, N.D. man was seriously injured in a motorcycle crash on I-29 south of Gardner Friday afternoon.

The North Dakota Highway Patrol says the man was traveling northbound between 65 and 70 miles per hour when his motorcycle began to wobble and he laid the motorcycle down.

The man, who was wearing a helmet, was taken to a local hospital by helicopter.

The northbound lanes of the interstate were shut down for around an hour after the crash.

The incident remains under investigation.
