Savannah Fire extinguished a house fire in the 100 Block of Norton Street around noon Saturday. The fire appears to have begun in a pile of clothing and spread throughout the house. Two people were displaced fire crews said.

Later in the day, fire officials announced that an individual was charged with arson for setting a fire at a house in the 100 Block of Norton Street. Savannah Arson Investigators believe a domestic dispute resulted in the individual setting the fire, which spread throughout the house.
