The United States Geological Survey reported two earthquakes in western North Carolina Saturday morning.The USGS says the first earthquake hit at 1:16 a.m. just north of Weaverville with a magnitude of 1.9. It had a depth of around 1.37 miles.The survey reported a second earthquake just northwest of Weaverville at 1:16 a.m. with a magnitude of 1.8 and and a depth of around .81 miles.

The United States Geological Survey reported two earthquakes in western North Carolina Saturday morning.
The USGS says the first earthquake hit at 1:16 a.m. just north of Weaverville with a magnitude of 1.9. It had a depth of around 1.37 miles.
