ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) — Police are investigating a shooting in northwest Roanoke that left one man hurt on Friday night.

At approximately 10:20 p.m. on Friday, June 24, the Roanoke Police Department says officers responded to a shooting in the 3700 block of Williamson Road NW.

Upon arrival, police found evidence of a shooting, but later discovered a man had arrived at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital via personal transport to be treated for gunshot wounds.

Authorities were informed the man’s injuries are non-life-threatening. Further investigation indicates the man’s injuries are connected to the shooting scene along Williamson Road NW.

No arrests have been made and the case remains under investigation.
