At 10:31 am Saturday, the East Contra Costa Fire Protection District and CALFIRE responded to a report of a vegetation fire in the area of Camino Diablo and Walnut Blvd in unincorporated Brentwood.
While responding, smoke was showing from the area while it was reported power lines might be involved. CALFIRE arrived on scene reporting the fire was approximently 1/2 acre to 1 acre in size and between Walnut Blvd and Marsh Creek Road.
As of 11:03 am, the fire was estimated at 4 acres and forward progress had stopped.
