WELL, PLEASE SIR LOOKING FOR SUSPECTS FOLLOWING A DEADLY SHOOTING THIS AFTERNOON IN THE PHOENIX HILL NEIGHBORHOOD OFFICERS WERE CALLED TO EAST MUHAMMAD ALI BOULEVARD IN SOUTH HANCOCK STREET NEAR UOFL HOSPITAL AROUND 12:30. THE VICTIM WAS LOCATED A FEW BLOCKS AWAY AND TAKEN TO THE HOSPITAL WHERE HE LATER DIE

A man has died after being shot in Phoenix Hill on Saturday afternoon, according to Louisville Metro police.Around 12:30 p.m., First Division officers responded to the report of a shooting on East Muhammad Ali Boulevard and South Hancock Street. That is near UofL Hospital.When they got there they found a man two blocks to the east at the intersection of Ali and Shelby Street. He was suffering from gunshot wounds and was transported into the care of UofL Hospital in serious condition where later died.Police have not found any other victims at this time, and the investigation remains ongoing.
