One person is hospitalized and a suspect is in custody after a weekend shooting in the parking lot of a police department. Police in Anderson say, the shooting happened in their parking lot around 6:45 Friday evening.

Investigators say, the shooting happened as part of a domestic dispute, while a couple was exchanging custody of their child. The boyfriend, 23 year old Tariq Thomas was arrested and charged with Attempted Murder. The victim was transported to an area hospital to be treated for his injuries, there's been no word on his condition.
