Tommy “Papaw Tom” Stephens, age 60, of Camden, Indiana passed away on June 21, 2022, at IU Health Arnett Hospital in Lafayette, Indiana. He was born on July 12, 1961, the son of the late Edgar and Barbara (Cropper) Stephens. Tommy graduated from Gamaliel High School. He was employed in the maintenance department at Frito Lay. Tommy loved spending time with his grandchildren and enjoyed gardening, hunting, and fishing.
He is survived by his children; Bryan Stephens (Katherine) of Flora Indiana, and Brittany Stephens of Lafayette Indiana; two brothers, Mark Stephens of Delphi Indiana, and Jimmy Stephens of Cutler, Indiana; two sisters, Sherry Stephens of Delphi, Indiana and Pam Pate of Birmingham, Alabama; two grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services will be 7:00 PM, Sunday, June 26, 2022, at Davidson Funeral Home in Delphi, Indiana. Pastor Bob Duke will officiate the service.
Visitation will be 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM, Wednesday, June 29, 2022, at Bartley & Sons Gamaliel Chapel with graveside services at the Gamaliel Cemetery
Memorial contributions may be made in Mr. Stephens’s memory to the American Cancer Association.
