Celebration of Summer
The 18th Annual Celebration of Summer sponsored by the Burlington Chamber of Commerce went off wonderfully last weekend. Even with the hot blustery winds a good time was had. Beautifully maintained and restored cars, pickups, motorcycles, and antique tractors lined the street, and a good selection of musical performances entertained the crowd until well after dark. A cornhole tournament to benefit the Burlington High School football team, as well as face painting, food vendors and a beer garden provided something for everyone.
