Rapids River Days Parade takes place in Sauk Rapids on Friday night

The city of Sauk Rapids kicked off the weekend Friday night with its Rapids River Days Parade. Sixth Avenue was blocked off as hundreds of families, friends and community members came over with lawn chairs and blankets to watch the parade.

There were about 90 different floats that went through the parade. There was a variety of floats with marching bands, vehicles and local sponsors from the community.
