NEW YORK - The Yankees continue their four-game series against the Astros on Saturday. First pitch is scheduled for 1:05 PM EST. The YES Network will televise the game locally. MLB Network will televise it out of market.
The pitching match-up will feature Yankees’ ace Gerrit Cole (6-1, 3.14), who took a no-hitter into the eighth inning in his last start against the Tampa Bay Rays. Cole struck out 12 while allowing just one hit in 7.1 innings. He’ll be opposed by Cristian Javier (4-3, 3.07 ERA).
Despite their 3-1 loss to Houston on Friday, the Yankees have MLB’s best record and are off to the third-best 70-game start by any major league team in the last 93 years (since 1930).
