Organizers of a Springfield rally to protest the Supreme Court decision ending a constitutional right to an abortion say it’s time to get mobilized and take action.
An estimated 200 people took part in Friday night’s rally outside the federal building in downtown Springfield. Among the groups organizing the event was Resistor Sisterhood, which says the High Court’s decision could lead to other rights being rolled back… including same-sex marriage.
The group says people who are concerned about those issues need to get involved… and to vote.
