Flying Dog Brewery is going into the cocktail business.The Frederick-based brewery announced this week that it has partnered with two other East Coast breweries, Boston's Harpoon Brewery and Saranac Brewery in Utica, New York, to launch Right Coast Spirits, a new brand focused on ready-to-drink canned cocktails.The first Right Coast Spirits products, a line of fruit-filled drinks called Vodka Whips, head to store shelves this month. The 7.5%-alcohol-by-volume canned cocktails, which come in orange, wild berry, watermelon and pineapple flavors, combine vodka, real fruit and a "whipped finish" that "contains both a fruit and whipped cream component," Flying Dog spokesperson Eve Butt said.Read the full story from our partners at the Baltimore Business Journal
