Boy, 16, found shot to death in front of Brooklyn NYCHA complex

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A teenage boy was found shot to death in Brooklyn early Saturday morning in front of a Brooklyn NYCHA complex and police are searching for a suspect.

Cops responded to a 911 call around 3:17 a.m. about a person shot on the corner of Sutter Ave. and Osbourne St. in Brownsville.

Responding officers found the 16-year-old victim unconscious and unresponsive with a gunshot wound to his torso. He was taken to Brookdale Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The victim’s identity was not immediately released.

No arrests have been made and the investigation remains ongoing.
