NODAWAY COUNTY —A Missouri woman was injured in an accident just after 6p.m. Friday in Nodaway County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2022 Freightliner semi driven by Salih A. Mohammed, 34, Portland, Oregon, was southbound on U.S. 71 a mile and a half north of Maryville.
The driver failed to notice a southbound 2012 Ford passenger vehicle driven by Shai L. Dailey, 20, Pickering, slowing to make a turn at Route CC. The semi struck the Ford in rear driver's side door.
Nodaway County EMS transported Dailey to Mosaic in Maryville. Mohammed was not injured. Both drivers were properly restrained, according to the MSHP.
