How to watch Louisville's Hailey Van Lith, Team USA in 2022 FIBA 3x3 World Cup quarters

After being named the MVP of the FIBA 3x3 U18 World Cup three years ago, Louisville rising junior guard Hailey Van Lith has continued her dominance for Team USA’s women’s national team this year.

She scored 31 points during four games of pool play this week, putting her in a four-way tie as fourth-leading scorer among men’s and women’s players in the 3-on-3 tournament. The Washington state native also produced the final two baskets in Team USA’s 20-18 overtime win over France, allowing the squad to finish first in Pool B with a 4-0 record. 

Now Van Lith and the U.S. move on to the single-elimination portion of the tournament, with gold on the line. Here's what to know about their quarterfinal matchup and how to watch: 

Who will Team USA face in the FIBA 3x3 World Cup quarterfinal?

Team USA moves on to play either Canada in the single-elimination quarterfinals matchup at 10:35 a.m. EST Saturday. Canada and Germany face off in the play-in contest Saturday morning. 

The winner of the quarterfinals moves on to the semifinals, which are set for 11:15 and 11:40 a.m. Sunday with the championship game later that day at 2:55 p.m. 

USA will be looking for its third overall gold medal and first since 2014. The last time the squad participated in the 3x3 World Cup was in 2018 when it finished third.
