Jessie and Slater are this week's featured adoptable pets with the CNY SPCA. They are 14-week-old kittens looking for a loving home along with their sibling who is also at the shelter. Dee Schaefer with the shelter says they will "light up any home."
The CNY SPCA is experiencing an overflow of cats and kittens. Schaefer says it seems as though people don't want to adopt right now as adoptions across the region are slow.
This comes as 25 kittens are coming into the shelter next week. Currently, there are more than 100 cats in their care. Schaefer says they are running out of room on the floor and need people to adopt, adding that she has never seen kittens on the floor for this long before.
