The Panorama Panthers Softball and Baseball teams took on the Earlham Cardinals in double header action on Thursday as they faced off against the Cardinals for the first time this season.

As the Panthers are looking ahead toward the postseason there are still a few regular season games left on the schedule including the double header against the Cardinals this past Thursday. The Panthers baseball team was able to come away with one victory while the Panthers softball team dropped both games in the double header at home.

Panthers baseball went into the first game of the double header against the Cardinals looking for a victory but had a tough time getting runs across the plate as they fell by a final score of 11-1 and they fell to an overall record of 4-13 on the year but as is the pattern with the historical matchup with the Cardinals, the Panthers came out swinging in the second game of the double header winning that one by a score of 9-4 and moving to 5-13 on the year.

The Panthers softball team was looking to pick up a few wins over the Cardinals on Thursday but struggled on the offensive side as in game one of the double header they fell by a score of 14-1 only being able to send one runner home. In the second game the Panthers brought more offensive firepower but fell by a final score of 25-7 dropping their overall record to 1-20 on the season so far.

The Panthers softball and baseball teams will get back out on the diamond on Monday against the AC/GC Charges in Guthrie Center for a West Central Activities Conference showdown.
