Silver Alert issued for missing, endangered 75-year-old man from Rowan County

ROWAN COUNTY, N.C. — A Silver Alert has been issued for a missing, endangered 75-year-old man from Rowan County.

The Salisbury Police Department issued the alert for Berlin Delano Hilign, who is believed to be suffering from dementia or another cognitive impairment.

Hilign is around 5 feet, 9 inches tall and weighs 160 pounds.

Police say he was last seen in Salisbury, but they have no information on the direction that Hilign traveled in.

He has brown eyes and is bald.

Anyone with information on Hilign’s whereabouts is asked to call the Salisbury Police Department at 704-216-8500.
