COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater Farmers Market returns to Downtown Coldwater for its 8th season on Saturday. The market will run Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. until September 10.
Because of construction in the Four Corners Park, the market will be held this year just south of City Hall in the parking lot.
Organizers say there will be many new vendors this season, and some returning from previous years.
Market Manager Luke Bovee says weekly entertainment will return.
For several years, the Branch County Community Foundation has also provided shoppers with reusable bags when they come into the market, which they are doing again this year.
Bovee says they are sticking to their mission of providing Coldwater with high-quality locally grown produce and sustainable practices and increasing food access to our community. He added in a time where it’s difficult to get many products, this is a great time to shop local farmers/businesses.
Vendors at the first market include 1971 Farm, American Flower Trends, K’s Acres, Badassery Cowgirl, Hand To Hand Farm (formerly Mitten Creek), Walnut Level Farms with beef, Ideas Galore, Jayne’s Pie Pantry, The Victorian Nomad, Katie’s Country Homestead, Kim Kohl, Mushroom Curiosity, Skidmore Family Farm, Naomi Graber Baked Goods, and Union City Rotary Club.
