Winston-Salem police are investigating two different shooting incidents that happened late Friday night.First, just before 10 p.m., the Winston Salem Police Department responded to a reported shooting at the Burger King on Peters Creek Parkway. Officers said when they arrived on scene, they found one man suffering from a single gunshot wound to his leg.Investigators said a disturbance happened between the man and two other women in the parking lot. During the disturbance, they said, one woman pulled out a gun and shot the man in the leg. Police said she was seen fleeing the area in a Ford passenger-style vehicle.The victim was transported to a local hospital and his injuries are considered non-life-threatening, according to police. The Winston Salem Police Gun Crime Reduction Unit is investigating this incident.Shortly after 12:30 a.m., the Winston Salem Police Department responded to a shooting on E. Monmouth Street. Officers said there was a large party going on there and evidence that firearms had been discharged. Nearly 30 minutes later, one man arrived at a local hospital with a single gunshot wound. Police said he was shot as he was attempting to leave the party, after it was being shut down due to gunfire in the parking lot.
