The City of Leighton is celebrating Independence Day on Friday, July 1st from 4:30 to 10:30 p.m., with food, displays, and games starting at 5 p.m., and the annual parade following both at 7:30 that evening, with fireworks to conclude festivities at 10 p.m. on the 1st.

The KNIA/KRLS Big Red Radio and Lil’ Big Red Radio are participating in area 4th of July parades, with non-stop patriotic music magazines returning on the Independence Day weekend and holiday for fireworks celebrations.
