Summer Wildcats set for tournament
The summer Ponca City Wildcat baseball team will close out its schedule by participating in a league tournament.
The Northwest Oklahoma Baseball Coaches Association Tournament is scheduled to start Tuesday in two locations--Pioneer School, near Enid, and Drummond.
The Wildcats are scheduled to open in the tourney with a game at 3 p.m. Tuesday against Tonkawa at Pioneer. Other Tuesday games at Pioneer include Chisholm vs. Alva at 5 p.m. and Pioneer vs. Timberlake at 7 p.m.
At Drummond on Tuesday Crossings Christian of Edmond is scheduled to play Drummond at 4 p.m. and Kremlin is set to play Hennessey at 7 p.m.
The tournament will continued Wednesday and Thursday at the Drummond and Pioneer locations, with the championship game set for 7 p.m. Friday at the Northwestern Oklahoma State University Ranger Field in Alva.
The tournament is double elimination.

Game 12 -- If two teams remain 1st semi-final game, 5 p.m.
Game 13-- If Necessary Game, If all three teams have one loss, lower two seeds play, Highest seeded team will play the winner at 7 p.m.
At Drummond Game 14-- If two teams remain, 1st semi-final game, 5 p.m.
Game 14-- If two teams remain, 1st semi-final game, 5 p.m.
Game 15 -- If necessary game. If all three teams have one loss, lower two seeds play, highest seeded team will play the winner at 7 p.m.
