Coroner IDs Indiana Hit & Run Victims

Indiana police are on the hunt for a wanted man they call "armed and dangerous." Matthew John Gilbert, 41, is currently wanted on a felony warrant.

Officers from the CCSO, thought they'd caught up with him when they received a report Thursday morning that he'd gone into a home in the 4000 block of US421 armed with a weapon looking for more weapons and money.

Deputies immediately responded to the scene, set up a perimeter, and requested mutual aid from the Indiana State Police Emergency Response Team. Officers shut down US421 and proceeded to clear to check the area for any trace of Gilbert without luck.

He went to jury trial on June 22 and left before his sentencing. I was told by the Clinton County Sherrifs wife there was nothing they could do. He was out on bond. So he walked away a free man. This is not the first time he has eluded the Clinton County Sherrif. Wake up CCSD
