Which Carolina Panthers players could still be traded before the 2022 season gets underway?

We now have a formal date for when the Carolina Panthers descend on Wofford College to start a hugely important training camp this summer. Rookies and veterans alike begin a testing few weeks in Spartanburg on July 26, which will hopefully form the building blocks for a successful campaign in 2022.

Morale in the camp remains high despite the Panthers‘ precarious predicament. The atmosphere was noticeably good during early offseason workouts and the team’s mandatory minicamp, which will hopefully stand them in good stead when preparations ramp up in the coming weeks.

The intensity will undoubtedly increase when it’s time to get the pads on. But the Panthers could also make changes to current personnel in the lead-up to camp in pursuit of strengthening their hopes of being competitive.

Obviously, this centers around the quarterback position. Carolina could be content with what they currently possess, but rumors remain about trading for Baker Mayfield or Jimmy Garoppolo if a good deal can be agreed upon.

However, if the Panthers feel like moving on some pieces is the right thing to do, then it’s something they’ll also consider before their Week 1 game against the Cleveland Browns.

With this in mind, here are three Panthers players who could still be traded before the 2022 season.
