The Cardinals will host Maryland, while the Hoosiers will host North Carolina

The University of Louisville and Indiana University men's basketball programs each learned their matchups for this year's ACC/Big Ten Challenge. The Cardinals will host Maryland on Nov. 29 inside the KFC Yum! Center. UofL is 6-2 all-time against Maryland, which includes a 63-55 win over the Terrapins in the 2021 Baha Mar Hoops Bahamas Championship title game last season. Cards' associate head coach Danny Manning was an assistant coach for Maryland at the start of last season before becoming the Terrapins' interim head coach for much of the season after then-head coach Mark Turgeon stepped down in early December. Meanwhile, Indiana will host the national runner-up North Carolina Tar Heels in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge on Nov. 30 inside Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall."I'm really excited for our program and fans to have a matchup like this next season at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall," said IU head coach Mike Woodson in a news release. "It doesn't get any better than two iconic programs playing on the biggest stage."It will be the 16th meeting between IU and UNC.
