PLANNED PARENTHOOD AND COMMUNITY CLINICS BELIEVE THERE COULD BE MORE CALIFORNIA FOR TREATMENT THAT COULD LEAD TO NEW LAWS THAT COULD PREVENT THEM FROM SEEKING PROCEDURES OR MEDICATIONS NOT EVERYONE WAS SURPRISED BY THE COURTS RULING SINCE THE DOCUMENTS WERE RELEASED TO THE PUBLIC IN MAY, BUT STILL MANY COMMUNITY MEMBERS ARE HEARTBROKEN ABOUT TODAY'S RULING <"WE'RE READY TO FIGHT. WE'RE READY TO GROW TO TAKE CARE OF NOT JUST OUR LOCAL COMMUNITY'S AN LOCAL PEOPLE BUT ALSO READY TO HELP PEOPLE WHO HAVE THE RESOURCES TO BE ABLE TO TRAVEL AND ESAPE THESE OPPRESSIVE STATE'S AND TO COME TO CALIFORNIA TO GET THIS BASIC HEALTH CARE." ç1:35Ñ I SEE THIS AS FORCED BIRTH COUNTRY'S AND WE KNOW FROM DIFFERNT TIMES IN THE UNITED STATES THIS WILL BE ONGOING ABORTION AND LESS SAFE." THE STATE LEGISLATURE IS CONSIDERING MORE THAN A DOZEN BILLS THAT WOULD STRENGTHEN OR EXPAND ACCESS TO ABORTION THE BILLS ARE FROM THE FUTURE OF ABORTION COUNCIL, WHICH THE GOVERNOR FORMED LAS YEAR TO STUDY REPRODUCTIVE RIGHTS IN THE STATE

Two people disrupted a peaceful abortion rights rally in Santa Cruz Friday evening, police said. The individuals showed up and spray-painted graffiti on windows on the side of the building, according to police.That's when a scuffle broke out between one of the individuals and a person taking part in the rally, police said. No one was seriously injured.Police said the two individuals were not part of the rally. Officers did not make any arrests but said the incident is still under investigation.The graffiti was minimal and was cleaned up, police reported.More than 200 people were estimated to have attended the rally on the steps of the Santa Cruz County courthouse. The group voiced their concern with the Supreme Court's ruling overturning Roe v. Wade.

Two individuals not involved in an abortion rights rally at Santa Cruz County courthouse spray-painted graffiti on the building’s windows, Santa Cruz police said.  

That's when a scuffle broke out between one of the individuals and a person taking part in the rally, police said. No one was seriously injured.

Police said the two individuals were not part of the rally.

Officers did not make any arrests but said the incident is still under investigation.
