SHEPHERD, Mich - UPDATE: Shepherd Police say the suspect, Joseph Ryan Kadlek was arrested just before 5:00 AM this morning out of the county.

Shepherd Police are searching for 47-year-old Joseph Ryan Kadlek from Sumner.
Investigators say officers were dispatched to a home invasion that had just taken place at a residence in the 300 block of South Fourth Street in the Village of Shepherd.
Police say Kadlek forced his way into the home and robbed the homeowner at gunpoint.
Police say he took the resident's vehicle, a silver 2009 Buick Encore, and left in an unknown direction of travel.
The homeowner was not hurt.
Police say Kadlek is not believed to be anywhere in the area, he is to be considered armed and dangerous. If you see him, do not approach him, and call 911.
