It was the North vs the South in the return of the district 4 football all star game tonight in Danville. This marks the first time the game has been played since 2019. Everyone is excited to see it come back and you can tell by the big crowd.
Justin Van Fleet, President, District 4 football coaches association says.” We decided that we really wanted to come back together a group of head coaches and be able to do some things so we have the combine back, our game is obviously back, and then we will have our media day later this summer. So I am excited for a lot of things that are happening for football in Central PA and tonight is definitely a showcase for that.“
Tyler Sechrist, North Coach(Canton) added, “ It has been a great week and experience coaching different kids and different coaches just the atmosphere. Learning new things and about the kids . You them in the paper and in the news clips but to get to meet them and be with them was a lot of fun. “
Maddix Dalena, North QB,(Montoursville) says, “ It means a lot. I am not going to college to play football but baseball. It is good to get out here one last time and play with the best guys on the area and the UMPC team “
Bob Ide, asks, "What do you want to get out of tonight? “
Cooper Kitchen, North WR(Canton) answers, “ Just making some news friends. We have had some good practices and we have gotten along. Some of these guys will play ball at the next level but it is cool to play with them and different players. “
