Crowds gathered outside of the Thompson Courthouse and Federal Building Friday evening in response to the Supreme Court's decision to overturn Roe v. Wade.
Abortions are still legal in Nevada despite the decision, but hundreds of protestors banded together in downtown Reno to demand abortion access for all states across the nation.
The Virginia Street Bridge was blocked with pedestrians around 8:00 p.m. as hundreds of protestors moved from the courthouse to the Reno Arch.
Around 8:34 p.m., Sierra Street, Liberty Street and Center Street were closed to traffic. Virginia Street Bridge reopened as more protestors made their way back towards the courthouse.
By 8:44 p.m., the crowd occupied the front of the Thompson Federal Building, blocking off South Virginia Street.
As of 10:00 p.m., pedestrians have cleared the streets and roads are reopened for traffic.
