NATIONAL CHAMPIONS Four Perryton High School powerlifters competed in the National Meet in Orlando, FL, earning three national championships and one runner-up. All four were invited to join Team USA for the world championships in Istanbul, Turkey.
Four Perryton power-lifters traveled to the National Powerlifting Meet, and brought home three championships and a national runner-up.
The meet was held in Orlando, FL.
Saleen Nyman, took first place in her weight class with a 645 pound total. She is a former state champion, and placed second at state earlier this year. She competed at nationals in 2021, bringing home a fourth place medal.
