With just 10 days until the Fourth of July, firework shops anticipate an explosive weekend.
But customers may notice a firework price hike.
Carts were overflowing Friday with firework fanatics.
Some Wisconsin stores are concerned with inventory due to Asian supply chain issues, but not all.
"I see every shelf is stocked. It looks good. There's a lot of fireworks available," said Mike Miller, who was shopping for fireworks.
Phantom Fireworks here in Caledonia has experienced some shipping issues this year, but the shelves were full Friday.
"We'll have actually more supplies than probably the last couple years. We're fully stocked and will be through the 4th of July," Phantom Fireworks general manager Ryley Harlow said.
The stock, though, will cost customers more this year.
"There has been some price increase -- freight has more than like tripled... as with any good importing from China. It's just a direct relation to freight increase," Harlow said.
"Are you noticing prices going up at all or are they pretty consistent?" WISN 12 News reporter Hannah Hilyard asked Miller.
"It seems like they are up a little bit. Here, they run some good deals. They always have flyers, and if you're a premier account member, then you get 50% off and stuff like that," he said.
The American Pyrotechnics Association said overall costs are up more than 35%.
But not all seem to mind.
Harlow anticipates their biggest crowds this weekend and next weekend.
