JACKSON, Ky. (FOX 56) – Two people were injured after an officer-involved shooting Friday in Breathitt County.
A news release from the Kentucky State Police said the shooting happened at around 11:28.
One man who was injured during the incident was flown to the University of Kentucky Albert B. Chandler Hospital for treatment.
A Breathitt County deputy sheriff also received minor injuries and was treated at an area hospital and has since been released.
