Short-staffed city animal shelter temporarily closed

Due to an unexpected shortage in staffing, the Wichita Falls Animal Services Center at 1207 Hatton Road was closed Friday afternoon and will be closed Saturday.

Animal officers will still take emergency calls in the field, according to a release from the city.
