The Lake View City Council met on Monday and discussed surfacing Hanson Street and drainage on Highway 175. Hanson Street is currently a gravel road and City Administrator, Scott Peterson, says they are checking out different options to put a hard surface on the road.
Peterson adds the cost varies depending on the option the council goes with. He adds which direction the council is looking at right now.
The council then moved to a drainage issue along Highway 175. Peterson says they are looking at that area for future development, but it is very wet. He says the council met with property owners to explore some options to help it drain better.
Peterson adds they do not know how they will pay for the $180,000 project at the moment.
