MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WPDE) —

The Myrtle Beach Police Department released an update after a "disturbance" on 27th Avenue North on Thursday, saying one person has been charged in connection.

According to a release, officers were called to the residence around 11 a.m. to check a home and assist a woman in retrieving belongings after a reported domestic violence incident between herself and an ex-boyfriend.
