JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) With one out in the bottom of the fifth inning and the bases loaded, Jack Erickson hit a two-RBI single to score Kael Kovar and Owen Hagel for the walk-off win 13-3, winning by 10-run rule. Carrington Post 25 drops a four game skid and improves to 3-4 overall, Edgeley/Kulm drops to 2-5 overall.

Post 25 had 10 hits in the opener of the Mid-Summer Classic Legion Baseball Tournament at Jack Brown Stadium. Brock Fike had three of them, three singles, scored three times and knocked in two. Hudson Schmitz picks up the victory, working five innings, three earned runs, four k’s. Austin Strobel takes the loss, working two and a third innings, nine runs, seven earned. Damian Carlson worked two innings and Dylan Carlson faced one batter, Erickson. EK Post 136 had four total hits, one single and three doubles. Dalton Madke, Adam Nitschke and Carl Tjurland had doubles. Madke and Nitschke an RBI.

Next up for Carrington Post 25 will be Saturday against West Fargo Aces at 5pm.
