12 inmates graduate from the first multi-county deckhand program

On Friday, McCracken, Marshall and Calloway County Regional Jail inmates graduated from WKCTC's first multi-county deckhand training program.

Twelve inmates, four from each jail, completed the 60-hour program, received their certificates and met with representatives from the river industry.

McCracken County Jailer David Knight told the recent graduates that they put in the work and sweat and to take this opportunity and do something with it.
