The last few days have been busy for Bayern Munich as they sealed the signing of Sadio Mane from Liverpool. There has been a considerable amount of transfer movement in the first team as the German Champions have already sealed three transfers. Bayern has also been busy with sorting departures for players from the reserves team.

Armindo Sieb completed a move to Greuther Furth on Friday. The young German forward has signed a three-year deal with Furth. It remains to be seen whether Bayern has inserted a buy-back clause in this deal. The Bavarian club had reportedly resisted offers for Sieb in the winter transfer window.

Sieb arrived from Hoffenheim in 2020. The youngster played for different age groups before eventually playing for the reserves team. He was reportedly one of the four young players from the reserves team that had impressed Julian Nagelsmann during last summer’s pre-season training.

Considering how highly rated Sieb has been at Bayern, it is surprising to see him leave on a permanent deal. Nevertheless, it is a great opportunity for him to get opportunities at the senior level. Die Roten will definitely keep an eye on his progress at Furth.

Meanwhile, Christopher Scott is also set to leave Bayern on a permanent deal. According to Sky Sports, Scott is set to work with former Bayern midfielder Marco Van Basten at Royal Antwerp. The young German midfielder has signed a four-year deal with the Belgian team.

Scott was also expected to get a chance in the first team last year after impressing Nagelsmann in training. Die Roten wanted to secure his future as they took up the option of extending his contract by a year, but the young midfielder probably wanted to play at the first team level from next season. He will get the chance to showcase his talent in the first division of Belgium.

Sieb and Scott will definitely benefit from these transfers in the long run. They would have most likely played in the reserves at Bayern next season, so playing at the senior level somewhere else will aid their development.

Earlier this summer, Bayern Munich had confirmed the departures of Christian Fruchtl and Ron-Thorben Hoffmann. The Bavarian club inserted buyback options in both deals. Lukas Mai also signed a three-year deal with Swiss club FC Lugano. Sarpreet Singh was set to join Werder Bremen, but a serious injury scuppered the move. The young attacking midfielder may have to wait for a transfer until January. The next two months will definitely see more transfer activity at Bayern for the youth teams.
