JESSIE ANN CARR

                Jessie Ann Carr age 83 of Gladwin, Michigan passed away peacefully on June 15, 2022 at Gladwin Pines Nursing and Rehabilitation Center-Gladwin. Jessie was born January 26, 1939 in Porter Township, Midland, Michigan, the daughter Frank and Hazel (Huntoon) Bushree. Jessie graduated from High School in 1958 and soon after was united in marriage to Mr. Charles Ellsworth Carr on August 23, 1958 in Midland.

                Mrs. Carr had resided in Gladwin since 2018, moving from West Branch, Michigan, where she resided for a one year with her daughter and son-in-law, prior, Jessie had resided in Midland for over twenty-two years as well she and her husband Charles resided in Harrison for many years. Mrs. Carr enjoyed cooking and baking for her family and friends, sewing, quilting, tending to her flower beds, reading, various puzzles, listening and dancing to country music, spoiling her grandchildren and great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and her daily visits with friends at the Ogemaw Commission on Aging Cottage location.

                Surviving Mrs. Carr is her husband of sixty-three years, Mr. Charles “Chuck” Ellsworth Carr of Harrison, three children: Tracy L. Carr of St. Louis, Michigan, Rena J. Smith and husband Marty of West Branch, and Calvin J. Carr of Harrison, eleven grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, plus one arriving soon, four great-great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews and extended family members. Mrs. Carr was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Kelly Lynn Carr, two sisters: Doris Scott and Shirley Alspaugh, and four brothers: Harvey Bushree, Leon Bushree, Arnold Bushree and Rodger Bushree.

                Life Celebration services honoring Mrs. Carr will be held Saturday, June 25, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. from Clark-Stocking Funeral Chapel and Cremation Service Inc., 165 West Oak Street, Harrison, Michigan, with Mr. Ben Evers officiating. A time of gathering and memory sharing will be held Saturday, June 25, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Inurnment will immediately follow services at Evergreen Cemetery, Frost Township, Michigan.
