A few thunderstorms Friday evening, clearing and breezy conditions for Saturday

We're seeing a few thunderstorms for Friday afternoon and evening, with weak surface cold front exiting the area. High pressure over the region will look to dry us out for this weekend, with increasing temperatures. Highs are aiming into the upper 80's to the lower 90's for Sunday and Monday.

FRIDAY NIGHT & EARLY SATURDAY: A few thunderstorms, with a clearing sky overnight. Overnight lows into the mid 40's for the Snake River Plain. Southwest winds at 10-15 mph, with gusts over 30 mph.

SATURDAY: Sunny with highs into the upper 70's and the lower 80's. Winds at 10-20 mph, with gusts around 25 mph.

SUNDAY: Mostly sunny and hot with highs into the mid to upper 80's for Idaho Falls. Highs near 90° for Pocatello and the lower Snake River Plain.

MONDAY: Sunny with highs into the lower 90's.
