Freeport again named to the Civic 50

MORENCI — For the tenth year in a row, Freeport-McMoRan was named to Points of Light’s Civic 50.

The Civic 50 honors companies with revenues of at least $1 billion annually that set the standard for driving social impact in their communities, and create a culture of service.

Freeport was also named one of the 100 Best Corporate Citizens by 3BL Media, in conjunction with Institutional Shareholder Services.

In 2021, Freeport-McMoRan Foundation distributed $2.8 million through its Community Investment initiative, to 39 different nonprofit organizations and projects in Arizona, Colorado and New Mexico, including the Greenlee Gardens project, a new park in Safford and the Boys and Girls Club of the Gila Valley.
