Moolenaar says the decision will save millions of lives and he will do everything he can to make sure adoption agencies have the resources they need to succeed.

Michigan Congressman John Moolenaar, a Republican from Midland, is calling the Supreme Court’s ruling to overturn Roe v. Wade one of the most wonderful days in the history of the country.

Moolenaar says the decision will save millions of lives and he will do everything he can to make sure adoption agencies have the resources they need to succeed.

In a previous interview, Moolenaar said Americans have the right to make their own health choices when it comes to things like masking. When I asked him to explain why abortion is a different health choice, he said...

“Because first of all, taking the life of a child is not health...I don't believe anybody would say that, that is in the best interests of the health of the child...we're talking about protecting innocent human life.”

Moolenaar says Roe v. Wade was decided on flawed constitutional principles and that today is not about the precedent the ruling may set for the future, he says today is about honoring life.
