SPRINGFIELD, Ohio (WDTN) – Serious injuries have occurred after a crash in Springfield Friday.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSHP) Springfield Post said the crash happened at 2:47 p.m. in the 2800 block of Springfield Jamestown Road in Springfield Township.
A Cadillac Escalade was northbound on State Route 72 and a four-door vehicle was southbound. The four-door vehicle was trying to turn left into a driveway when it collided with the Cadillac Escalade.
The Cadillac Escalade went off the side of the road and the four-door vehicle pivoted into the roadway.
It’s not clear at this time exactly how many people were hurt, but CareFlight was called to the scene and a OSHP trooper on scene said there are serious injuries.
“There was a lot of occupants and a lot of people got transported.”
