Bond has been set at more than $2 million for a Jacksonville man police said was selling meth, cocaine, psychedelic mushrooms, marijuana and edibles from his Midway Park home.
On Thursday, Detectives with the Jacksonville Police Department and the Onslow County Sheriff’s Department searched the home of Michael Anderson as part of a two months long narcotics investigation.
The investigation began in April when detectives started getting tips that Anderson was selling large amounts of crystal meth, fentanyl and heroin.
After investigators made several controlled drug purchases, a search warrant was served that turned up seven firearms, seven pounds of marijuana, 205 grams of crystal meth, 68 grams of cocaine, 80 bags of THC edibles, 12 grams of hallucinogenic mushrooms, several prescription pills and more than $8,000 dollars in cash.
Anderson is charged with:
- Trafficking heroin (15 counts)
- Trafficking methamphetamine (5 counts)
- Sell and deliver schedule ii (3 counts)
- Possession with intent to distribute schedule ii (2 counts)
- Possession with intent to distribute marijuana (2 counts)
- Trafficking cocaine (2 counts)
- Possession with intent to distribute schedule I
- Manufacture schedule i
- Manufacture marijuana
- Possession with intent to distribute schedule VI
- Possession of firearm by felon
- Conspiracy to traffic heroin
- Conspiracy to sell and deliver heroin
Anderson is being held on a $2,016,000 secured bond.
